big thank you for the member from leadgate that did not turn up to collect the ron Thompson rod .

Why name and shame ?? The guy hasn't been able to contact the buyer he might have a genuine reason why he didn't show accident ? Called away to work ? Any number of reasons....I'm not saying that's the case but no going back after naming and shaming.

point I am making I could have sold the rod yesterday to some other person but as he was local to me and the first to reply I kept it for him even though he told me he was at work and could not collect the rod till Thursday morning.
I have no wish to name & shame anyone but I could have been away fishing today not sitting in the house.

well I sold my other rod a kompressor gp to roy from south shields and he was spot on even gave me petrol money as he has no car of his own.
I was pleased to help him out, and he was over the moon with the rod .
hope to get out next week to give my zziplex sst a go just purchased last week from one of my mates.
when you get to my age each day is a bonus, so I try to make the best fishing ,walking me dog just out and about nothing better .

I am looking for a fairly cheap stiff rod for a week in Norway and i am not too far away from you.
