Has anyone used the zziplex xtr? I know the reviews say rough ground rod but zziplex s idea of a rough ground rod is not mine I.e m4 evo m4gt hst evo are they stiffer than a bullet?

Txl gt class rods mate will cast 8oz leads plus a bait no problem at all but with the glass tip you can feel everything still

I've got the dymic bullet phil,great rod phil I think my p3 is a lot more powerful though.ask tt he's had a few zippy s

which model phil the standard xtr ie not the bullet sport or the later equal sect xtr.

the first models i know of did have quite a bit give in the butts but tips were ultra fast taper with very fast recovery obviously this comes with the ultra fast taper tip.

probaly the best all round fishing rod on the go imo prob notso to most though.

Used an m4 evo allover Northumberland in heavy ground with no problems at all, same with the hst evo which was more powerful then the m4. Txl gt is a nice rod but to much for me. A mate of mine used an xtr for years and it managed no bother as well. For me though the m4 evo is the nicest rod zziplex have made and ideal all rounder for the North east.
