rod or reel for around £100

i already own a century tiger 235 and an abu 7000 pro rocket
can anyone recomend another rod or reel for pier/beach work for around the hundred quid?!?!?!
need to order it in time for santa

the ron thompson is the dogs boolocks but it is a very stiff rod but if you have been useing a tiger it will not be to much of a change, the ron thompson has been the rod of the year so far there is no other rod on the market for such a low price .

If you\'re after a reel for pier/beach work I wouldn\'t look much further than a SL20. Will cope with lighter or heavier work loaded with 20 or 25lb line.

I'd definitely opt for a slosh 20 for that kind of money. easy to cast, decent line capacity and cracking cranking power!

Keep an eye out for a good second hand rod and reel for a £100, why get one or the other when you can have both.
