Rod turner

Bought ones aint much good.lads use micrwave motors.if u any good with electrics.
I use a disco ball motor.rotates lovely.just need some brackets knoking up.

rod rings and things or guides and blanks

Ditto nothing wrong with bought ones as long as you buy a one specifically for rod turning And just not a fly dryer come rod turner.Only problem I have with bought ones is they turn far to slow for me 6-8 rpm that most are is just is too slow for me 23-33 is my ideal but everyone to his or her own.

one for varnishing rods & whippings
Saw one in eBay for £30 made by stonefly!!
Quite like the idea of making one
I've got an old microwave & thinking the turntable could do the job if I can make a bracket
