Fixed spool or multi? You can get. Second hand Greys rod on the for sale section here for 70 quid ish. Decent second rod for you if its only for a few weeks

No worries but I've fished with most of the Sonik range from sk3's to the nct and have never had a problem with any of them.

Must be one of the few so soniks that haven't snapped haha.... I wouldn't buy one either!

Only rods I have snapped is a sk3 and a sk4 would not take one for free and that's a fact

Invest in a ZIPPY mate don't here of many snapping bit pricey but you only get what you pay for QUALITY

If you get chance have a ride up to hardys (greys) at alnwick, they always have some of their "discontinued" range of rods for sale. Still cracking rods at bargain price in my opinion. I was up their the other day and they range from 75 to 130 for their old ish stuff.
