Hello all, fished a ridiculously windy roker on Tuesday from 9am to 7pm,made. Bite detection very hard with gusts strong enough to blow several tackle boxes down the pier, mine included lol didn't see any cod but I did manage 3 decent sized whiting, 4 flounders and 2 coalies and 8 crab, canny session apart from the wind especially when my last 2 trips here I've blanked, thanks for the info bosh came in very handy.

Bosh I went on the end and fished out to sea on the flood like u said then to the south pier on the ebb, most fish were brought in 3 before high and 3 hrs after most taking blueys, by 3 pm the wind was ridiculous but stuck it out til 6 when I lost my first set of gear, that and the wind was enough to convince me to go home after 9 hrs of fishing but enjoyed my day

Just shows you how much things have tailed off, a month ago you would have filled a bin liner out of a 10 hour session, it'll not be long before there's only flatties and coalie's left
