Roker Beach

Been sea fishing for a few months but despite the fact I live in Sunderland I have only ever fished in Hartlepool as thats where mate I go with lives. Looking to try and fish a few easyish marks in Sunderland (to get started). What does the beach to the left of Roker pier fish like? Saw a couple of guys on there when I had a walk around during the Sunderland festival. Also, are cars safe parked up at that end towards the amusements?

can produce some good fish during a blow and on a dying sea m8.as for car being safe its fine bud wont get touched as people park there aswell whilst fishing

There's a post on here saying roker pier is now open mate,deffinatly worth a few chucks off there mate as there have been some lovely fish pulled off there recently,I'm off down there next week provided its still open!!!

Live 2 mins from beach and never fished off it always used pier or ratty but I'm going to start fishing the beach as I'm sick of fishing packed spaces.
