had a few hours fish thisafternoon ahd a few small coalies and yts and a nice codling baits used squid mackrel rag and lug cod took rag then mr seal turnd up

Definately a pup, probably not long left its mother and now fending for itself. Probably taking refuge on the pier to get oot of those big and powerful swells we have at the moment... not ideal conditions for a young seal.

Again, alot of cuteness in that pups face :red:

cant say its the same Seal Pup but there was one at the same spot two weeks ago,it couldnt care less about people walking past,like has been said i wouldnt get too close though ...

there's one on the Tyne at scotswood at the minute,seen it today,right at the entrance to the river Derwent that's about 11 mile up river,from the piers
