roker on new years evening

just got back from roker pier,sea as flat as a ****
plenty bites some good whiting,i managed 10 mate got 5,nothing worth shouting about.
about 12 people on the round end,not a codling landed while i was there,started fishing 4pm finished 9.30pm
if anything it kept me away from the pub,all in all a good social evening.
baits used,lug macky,razor.

Well done for being out. I drove the missus and bairn to the sister in laws for the night and only had one can all night. Had some of that calibur alcohol free stuff and it was like drinking alka Zeltzer.

I,m down the Pool tomorrow cos i,m fed up sitting about all day-not expecting a lot but will be nice to get out.

Will take the camera just in case-and the drop net?.

Probs mean whities all day.
