fished from 8pm -2.30am
nice night no wind, quite warm and a few fish

first whiting 38cm

then whiting 41cm

then this whiting 36cm

whiting 40cm

and whiting 42cm

and another whiting at 32cm

no bloody codling :? :? :?

bait used lug, rag, blacks and bluey

Some nice whiting there mate, a frind of mine in the westoe club had one of 44cm on sunday when he and I were fishing our matches, and it only weighed 1lb 4oz's!! It was fat though i exspected it to be slightly heavier.

One or two codling cort aswell, though mainly just size or well size (around 2lb).


Lets hope thweres more aboot!

Well done mate, some nice Whiting there. Hoped to fish Roker myself last night but got caught at work so couldn't get away in time to sort my gear and get to a bait shop in time. Worst of all it put the missus in a strop as she was looking forward to a night without me under her feet :red:
