Roker pier 16-11-12

Well lads me and rob fished roker pier from 5pm to 11pm.
Got bites from whities straight away.
They lasted until 8pm then nowt until 10.30pm when we got 3 more size whities.
Most of the fish were small but we did get 4 that were size.
Baits used fresh rag,lug,squid,mackie.
Most of the fish came on squid.
There was about 15 people on the pier and we never saw any cod.

Nee sea on mate!if you want to bag up on whiting just stick some macky on,that's what the club lads do,good for the flattys too.

Welldone boys got to say you are tryers better than your last couple of sessions the last time you seen any cod was in the fish shop stevie i will show you how to do it saturday night lol

We had plenty fresh mackie which rob got from the fish key but nothing was touching it .
Squid done the biz.
The forecast is for strong southerly winds on Monday so hopefully it might bring something in.

I fished Marsden on Thursday and your right all bites came on squid.

i was on the round end to the left from 4-10 had 8 whities best 37cm seen 1 cod about 2lb from the end as i was setting up

mackeral by itself work best for me lastnight
