roker pier 1st time

Fished roker pier for the first time, what a long walk that pier is lol, caught nice codling had a few more knocks but no hook ups, also hooked a massive crab that weighed a ton but fell off, i did however pull in the claw and by the size of the claw it would have fed the 5000, my mate had a codling bit smaller than mine and a pouting but nice pier to fish, seen them porposes i believe they were at first light never seen them before which was a sight, fish taken on rag

If you think Roker is a long walk I would stay clear of south shields pier mate, its twice as long! Nice codling, plenty more where that came from!

Was a few nights ago now mate, there was already about 10 anglers on the end when we got there at 1 in the morning, rokers die hards lol

Haha class, the really big ones can give a good nip but will be more of a shock than anything, hold them by the head so they dont have a chance to nip ya, best way to get over it is to just pick them up simples
