Roker pier 22/09

Went down for a few hours starting at 5.30 and fishing til 9.30 .
Not a bad night with plenty fish coming in , I had 14 whiting of which I kept 6 good ones to coat in tempura batter a dab and a flounder .
Me mate Eric had a flounder on float fished squid which put a canny fight up on his light rod .
The fish where taking any bait , rag , mackerel , squid and crab and after dark ya bait was only in for minutes before getting a bite .
Good sport and a canny night , lets hope that's a starter for the winter

About 40 or 50 rods out so should be some more reports

hello mate we must of been fishing next to you there was 3 of us seen the flatty on float also the the 3 whiting which one had been attacked by a lobster m8 welldone on the night
