fished the neck end 8 - 12 this morning. fished the spinner and ended up with 40 macky (came in nice and steady on both the flood and the ebb). just had some for my tea, the rest are in the freezer for the winter whitings.
an enjoyable session, not as many people fishing as i would of thought on a bank holiday so not too many crossed lines.

were you getting them all the time or 1 hr before and 1 hr after high water?was the water coloured?

got them steady all the time, the water has cleared up a lot since the last time i was down on thursday.
the spinner was the most effective, those that were feathering were picking some up and i saw a couple on the float come in, but the spinner was scoring much better.
