fished the last 3 hours of the flood tonight on the round head, started quite slowly with just the odd whiting, then a bit better knock which ended up being a bass just a tad undersized which was lightly hooked and went back to grow bigger. about an hour before high water a slack liner which resuled in a cod around 6lb(ish) caught on fresh crab. near the top of the water got loads of whitings.
