fished the neck end 5pm til 7pm ended up with 4 macky, not loads coming in but saw a few coming up on the round head, the waters still mucky but clearing up all the time, got a feeling the macky will be back in numbers from tomorrow as long as theres no more fresh water coming down the river. going to give it a go at first light in the morning.

There was no Macky off the Heugh today. I fished it right up. Loads of flatties on me beachcaster. Loads of sprat. Spun on and off with me spinning rod most of the day, caught some coalies but not one Macky. No one else got any either.
