roker pier 31/7/13

went down at 9.00am to fish for mackerel over the high tide at 10.50am. when I arrived there were already 30 or 40 people who had the same ideas. anyway there were very few fish caught and i blanked. left at 12.30pm totally gutted. will try again later in the week.
I noted that the round end and bunker were blocked off because of the renovation work. i wonder how long this will take, any ideas.

Hard lines mate, better luck next time. I wont go fishing on the piers after about 9am at the minute... not worth the aggrevation with the volume of people on the piers.... Try an earlier session fella.... don't think the amount of water coming down the rivers at the moment helps either....

Roker has been a bit quiet on the makki front at the moment like said before an early morning session is less aggrevation and in my opinion more productive cheers
