Fished last 3 hours of the flood this morning on the round head fishing 2 light rods. Started slowly but ended up with at least a dozen flats (dabs and flounders) and 4 undersized codling, did lose one decent fish guesstimate 3lb+ close in presuming a cod, thats what i get for scratching with tiny hooks ! All fish taken on fresh runnys, it seemed they were the only thing the fish were interested in. Strangely i saw no whitings caught at all.

Well done Micky at one point there was only me and you on pier there seems to be loads of small codling around
