Roker pier closed??

Just had a call telling me the pier is closed...was planning a night session tomorrow.

Anyone know why and if its open tomorrow?

Tried the resorts office earlier but as normal just rang out!

Aye NNW winds gusting to over 20mph over the weekend will have the pier well awash. Still it could probably do with a good clean, get rid of the rubbish and smell of p1$$...

Just phoned the port office and they said its open!

So much for it being open, got there at 7.00am this morning and gates locked, phoned port office and he said the resort office closed it yesterday.
