fished roker pier 12.30 till 5.00, fishing was very slow till around 3.30 then the coalies showed. finished with 16 fish mainly all coalies bar a few whities, 3 size the rest just under. when i was packing up a man called bob who fishes the eastend and hendon comps pulled a nice 5lb codling in on the roundhead on mussle, size 1 hooks too intended for coalies.
as for the sea state, it was flat as a fart when i got there, but there was some toppa rollers cuming in later, looks promising for 2moro, mick
