Roker pier-Today.

Fished Roker pier this afternoon with SAJ from 2.30pm until 7pm,first cast i got a codling then that was it thought it was gonna be a good session but it wasn't to be. .Very hard work on there today,
Seen Cod seeker as well on his way to the Round head. Well me blanking sprees finished for now .

i too fished the pier last night, managed to get a birth on the roundend. got their about 5 ish and left at 8. a couple whities and a flattie wher what i saw caught.the sea looked canny when i first arrived but a south westerly rolled round and flattened the sea off within an hour. nevermind,its a start, its the first time ive fished off land for twenty years.i picked up me old diawa moonraker and millionaire to use, not bad in their day but looking a bit old hat compared to some of the silent running dream machines i watched been cast out. aswell as nearly new to roker pier i am also new to this forum so greetings to all.

welcome to nesa mate, there's nowt wrong with the old moonraker i love them, and the millionaire's not a bad reel either

Fished it last neet and Blanked... sea was picking up nicely as well.
