fished roker pier high tide yesterday proper packed ,could not get anywhere near the top fished half way down ,there was about six of us fishing with every bait you can think of, but none of us even got a sniff of a bite .dont noifanybody else got sumit????but we got nowt blanked yet again !with the sea and winds last week you would think there were lots of fish getting caught but nowt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me and me mate fished it from 5 till 11pm just before the roundhead ,i took 2 decent whiting first 2 casts just before top water and my pal had 2 ,that was it for the night last cast i brought another one in smaller,all i seen on the night was a 3lb cod and a good whiting at 1.5lb -2lb

5 of us fished the pier last night,6pm til midnight,saw 1 guy with a whiting and 1 of the lads with us had 3 whiting,thats all i saw get caught

I fished roker saturday night and i blanked and i was on the drum then on sunday fished the hall beach with eddie t and blanked again

Unlucky atleast you give it ago i blanked last night i was along the hall with basswrasse2 and not evening a bite. theres allways next time.

I fished the rat house on Saturday night from 3.30pm to 8.00pm and caught two lovely tree trunks which snapped my line on both occasions! Nothing else and all manner of baits used. Only saw one good sized flattie caught on the rest of the pier. Still, it was much better than being punished watching the boys get stuffed at Old Trafford!
