im sure when the pier is safe enough for the public and fisherman it will open untill then it will stay closed

aye theyl open it AFTER all the cod have gone by the looks of it but no one seems to mind ,

last i heard it will re open mid feb but this depends on weather etc

i spoke to the men working on the pier no thursday and was told that up to now 44 foot railing have been fixed but they still have 51 more to do plus all the concrete so it is unlikly it will open this winter.
