fished rocker yesterday with my son had 5 hour session bait used fresh peeler and rag which we dug ourselves only 1 fish gernard caught it on big crab bait apart from that nothing.spun for macky none there was a boat just of the pier and he never got any also only good thing was the weather apart from that absolute crap.

I fished it as well managed 6 coley on the daylights, but nothing else!

The tides are too big to fish the outside of the pier on the flood.
When they are this big,fish facing South east on the roundhead on the edge of the tide set.
You will see the edge of the set move round as the tide floods.
The set is where the tide meets the water coming out of the river,a hot spot for Macky and Coalies.....

Was it big mate, ? better than blanking anyway and I ain't heard of many gurnards being caught like, well done.

first 1 i ever caught of pier always been of me boat.cant wait to get nother boat and get amongst the big fish.miss the wreck fishing shame bwt weather for all lads going out on boats this weekend forecasts crap.
