Anybody know if the pier will b open at first light tomorow? A lad at work is after few mackerel gona give it a try on way to work, cheers in advance, chris

The pier only closes if the sea comes away.

Cheers rushy, went dwn this morning for a quick hour, walked off with half a dozen at 6am, loads of dolphins out, great to see them jumping out of the water must have been loads cos could see them close in all the way out, few in harbour too

Great hours fishing there Chris, all before a shift at work as well. Nice bonus to see the dolphins.

Fished Roker pier yesterday did an hour of spinning for macky and not a one to be had so started float fishing and was into coalies and dabs strait away so good luck to you m8
