Hi all,
just joined forum and have just got back into fishing again after many years
I have seen a few of you guys down on the pier when you had that £2 pound biggest fish comp on a Sunday, me and my father in law Jeff were in the bunker where I caught a Dragonette and jeff caught a big flounder that I think if we had put the £2 pound in would have won with .

any one know if the pier is open today as went past at 7am and it was shut.

be down about 10am if its open.

I remember you I came down and took pics of the dragonette it was a beauty mate the flounder was a gooding but a plaice won it at 42 cm

The sea was away yesterday so I don't think it will be open today as it is a big tide and the waves may be still coming over.
They will keep the pier shut until they can asses the damage caused by the sea.
Good luck were ever you decide to fish.
