fish the pier tonight plenty of small whiting small flaty, as it went dark fishing slowed abit but whity were bit bigger biggest about a pound ..
the lad up from me got a canny lobster..
bait used rag lug macky mussel

cheers andy....roker pier must be one of the most prolific spots in the country for plentiful good sized whiting in calm sea's...and it always thows up the codling aswell in calm conditions...bigger sea's and some big catches of cod/codling...it really must be one of the best marks in the uk for pier fishing in the winter

The opposite pier is twice as good.

I've never fished Roker Pier but i also hear its good all year round! just not close to where i live, i dont drive see so i dont get the chance to get up there.

yes roker does fish well all seasons its a canny pier i like it
