Fished early this morning from about 5.30 at the lifeboat ramp inbetween the piers,sea gaining momentum as well as the snow showers,two hours into the flood managed my first decent cod of the season,4.0lb dead,made a good account of itself,next cast good pull on the rod ,wound in 20 yards of slack and struck into nothing and that was it,quite a few fishing end of the old pier,i would expect there was a few more caught.Back out early morn tomorrow with the boy:red::red:

well done mate nice fish too i was down the high ledge last night and had one just under 2lb. you do get nice fish from there when the sea is big.
