heading to rossbeigh in s/west ireland in may for a week ,wondering if any one on the forum has been and has info about the shore fishing .will be taking lure rods and bait rods.

I've been there josum but I wasn't fishing, I was playing golf at Dooks Golf Club which is quite close to where you'll be. Lots of sand I remember, the tide seems to go out for miles. There seems to be lots of marks around the Ring of Kerry though and the Dingle Peninsula looks even better. There's lots of rock marks around the Slea Head and Clogher Head area. Wish I'd taken the rods as well as the clubs.
