Rough ground line

i have used 109 lb power pro braid on a abu 7500 been using it for 8 year now the line i have on now this is its 3rd season

Mind if I ask why mate? I've got some on one of my reels has some on. 35lb

its far too brittle . find the line snaps before my 10lb rotten bottom does ..... it pains me to say this this but id rather use ultima f1 then red ice....and i hate ultima f1 .

Tried a spool of Ultima Black Ice 35lb fished the kelp beds around the craster/beadnell area it never let me down. Some lines I've found over the years differ a canny bit when they colour them it must be the colouring they use when making them, had sylcast in blue and fluorescent yellow but the black was totally crap also Berkley trilene the light green was horrible but the clear is excellent couldn't fault it

I've just ordered some suffix tritanium 30lb in gold. I hope it comes for the weekend so I can try it out. I don't think I've read anything bad about it on here so it should be good.

30lb nite crystal with a 60lb rubbing leader. The leader just stops your line fraying, which in turn saves you cutting it off if its damaged.

You weren't wrong about that line mate. It was lovely on my 656 last night. And it's easy to see in the dark. Very happy with it.
