decided to head over the north side today as had to pick my new tools up from screwfix at the TT Industrial estate

got to the rubber fact and for a laugh i put a float out and look what i had on it

had nothing else on the rods that were right out there, but didn't blank again
mush be getting good at this fishing jazz, or just hitting lucky

it was 34cm and weight just under 1lb

Nice one mate. I was fishing eyemouth with a mate last year and he started clowning around with a float with a winkle on it, next thing he pulls a coalie up. Ha

couldnt comment on this mate as i know nothing at all about float fishing

apart from its good when the time of year is here, and u do i off the pier for pollok, maky wrase i think :S

like i say i need to learn about it, going to give if a bash though

Na not likely mate will try and get out this week mabey thursday cause thats when the boss is away at her mothers sleeping over
if i do get the green light will let you know mate just incase your out your self

First flattie ive heard bout on float aswell so good catch, did u have a rubber band stopper on to plumb the depth or was it on bottom? Unusual for flattie to come up for a float
