Ryhope 01/12/09

Fished Ryhope tonight with Phil185. Arrived at 7pm to fish the last of the ebb and the start of the flood. It was fairly breezy down there so not exactly comfortable fishing but the sea looked nice and Phil managed to pull out a codling. Still without scales so estimated at 1.5lb to 2lb. Left at 11pm, baits used Lug, Runnydown, and Squid.

It looks bigger in the photo than it did yesterday

It had been having a bit of a feast before i got it, its mouth was stuffed with sandeels a prawn/shrimp and a crab. I guess my foot long bait was just too much to resist
