thinkin about fishin th ryhope dene area over high water any1 know much about this area and whereabouts 2 fish any info plyz?:)

Fishes much better over low tide and when the sea is running. Try and find a stable ledge and hold your rod, watch for the tide coming in behind you as it floods really quick.

cheers m8. Is it best 2 fish as soon as th tide starts 2 go out or 2 hours before Ltide and how long after low water do u get before u hav 2 get off th rocks?

Will fish 3 hrs down and 3 back up. You will start to get pushed back around an hour and a half into the flood but you should find suitable ground further back. The cliffs also offer good fishing mate but be careful in conditions like we have at present. Keep an eye out at low water for any gullies and keep a mental note, as soon as the tide starts to flood the fish will occupy them.

Fished it last week in the open but didnt stay long, had a look off the top on the south side and noticed a lovely looking hole about 30 yards too the north that looked like it would produce but sadly it was out of bounds, looked like a good high water shot.

The Dene is actualy a better high water mark.Fish the end of the path on the north side 3 up 3 down.Beware of the cliff edge though as it can be undermined and fall away at any time.I fished the open there last week in the mouth of the dene.Had 1 codling in perfect conditions for the mark...
