Ryhope pipe.

I've never bothered fishing the Ryhope area before but this coming winter i fancy giving it a shot. Now google maps is still showing the satellite from 2009 i think, where there looks like there is a platform before the old pipe right?

Has this changed at all? There looks like clean ground to the north and heavy/mixed ground to the south? Advice appreciated.

Hi mates the pipe has gone now and the platform but you can still fish it.
As you come down the steps if you cast left its clean/mixed and if you cast right it's heavy .
I have found it fishes best in a southerly wind.
