not happy i snapped my rod!

u were'nt on the old breakwater were u m8? 1 of our club lads said some1 snapped & shatterd there rod.
 
Steve & myself were fishing the breakwater (by east end pipe) that night, no-one else there and no snapped rods; nearest lights we could see were south end of the beach. As far as I know Boz's Anubis was the only casualty that night.

lol, still spitting bits of carbon fibre now.
i really did shat myself, it sounded like someone had fired a big boy rifle next to me! lol

not too worry, insurance is coughing up for a new rod and im allowed to keep the old one, so i will be ringing conoflex for a new tip ;D

good job my line didnt snap when the rod did, or i would off when in the drink behind me, it was a canny drop aswell! :|(
 
no m8 defo an sk went that night 2 he snapped about 8 inches off the tip & also another 6 inches below that was shatterd, he was trying 2 rip his way out of a snag.
