S.S.A.C. South Pier Open today

The south pier is open from today for Seaham Sea Angling Club members until 31st of October while the north pier is closed from Monday the 2nd March for refurbishment work . Members can use there pier key for both piers till Monday when the northy is closed.

The dock company have opened the green fence for access to the south pier

And theres a canny swell starting to form the pier looks canny for a cod lol
Woops should of put this in the shore section

Went to do pier pegs today and found the chain and padlock still on the gate so couldn't do them

The council or the docks have put a new hand rail leading to the steps to the south pier access so lets hope they continue with a nice foot path and better steps etc.

Nice and sturdy

Fingers crossed they might spoil our members lol

Your right there Stew mate I have every thing crossed till the north pier is completed its been my dream for years. That aside the pier is fishing realy well for doggies at the moment but only after dark with double figure bags some nights.

Went for a peddle out tonight and there was 3 dock workers painting the south pier pole white

Won't stop white long
