This is our last summer league comp and there is 5 people could possibly win it with the points been well shared out this summer so good look to all
Registration 10-30 till 11-15 Weigh in 5 till 6pm at club H.Q.
Also the south pier will be pegged in this match and hopefully the access
will be sorted a bit more so tight lines Geordie

This competition will be pegged 1-60 for the time been its just a shame the water has dropped off but i still think the green wall will be holding a few fish

dean that dosnt half bring some memories back for me ,may i ask were you got pic from and is there anymore like it. thanks john

Brings back a lot of memories for me too John. Dawdon was still open when I left to live down south in 1990, you used to be able to walk down the spoil road onto the Chems then round the front of Noses point to get onto the Blast.

It is amazing how much things have changed in the last 20 years, it also means all the marks I used to know back then aren't the same anymore so in many ways I've been starting from scratch re-learning how and where to fish in Seaham. The Chems is the best example of this - used to fish there all the time, especially off the heap, I also remember a stack down around Noses area that was a good low water shot. Now I haven't got the faintest clue where to even start down there as it is so completely different to what I remember

I crackin l w shot stewy

very very snaggy.

older fisherman I speak to say the kelp is worse than it used to be., seen some good cod there but more lost these days

prefer off the top start of the ebb, always odd one about then. or start of the push on the pipe.

remember when a well known angler won the open off the bottom on the pipe a couple of years ago start of the push.(+8lb) the fish snagged him up 3 times I think, then when he landed it his weak link still in tact!
got me 3rd spot in the open off the top a few year ago too

wish I was fishing when the pits were there.

I do rememeber before the blocks were there. loads better it was back then, even in my day.
