About 41cm that 1 m8t. also returned a couple for another day.

hope they are herring and not shad, if they where over 12-14oz chances are they are shad and protecetd and should be put back, can't realy tell from the photos, but would say they are herring.

Had more herring than mackerel so far this year, alot been taken the daylights

think you will find that they are not herring mate,should of been returned.

not deep enough in the body to be shad ,herring id say.
