had a short session at first light with the spinning gear. fished the small wall, had loads of coalies all undersizd and managed a solitary macky. very foggy this morning.

Certainly looked rather white on the Longsands camera's when I looked.Good to hear the Mackerel are there if only in small numbers.

Nice little sesh for u mate and ur first macky of the season! im gonna have a look on pier later to see how many are being caught n hopefully gonna get out with the spinning gear some time this week.

Like micky said was very foggy and cold this morning...had a few coalies but no macky....nice talkin to ya micky.

The fog stayed for the afternoon. I dusted off the spinning gear and headed up there today, caught a couple of decent coalies but no mackerel. Saw about a dozen mackerel caught by people using daylights but none of them fancied any of my lures.
