s/shields pier ??

hello lads.. new to nesa and would just like a few tips on where to fish on shields pier ? many thanx jordan

welcome to nesa mate, there's a few marks on here South Shields Pier - NESA - North East Sea Angling - Sea Fishing UK
also on the end of the pier there's the small wall and the south east corner.

hello m8 rag,lug and crab top baits on pier other baits will also take fish though. I use pulley pennell rigs or a fixed up and over rig. The rubble and rail end fish best on the flood but the rubble is fairly heavy ground and wouldnt recomend it unless your fairly experienced. I personally have had more fish at the blocks when the tides ebbing, the south east corner on the end is also a good shot last 2 hours out and 1hour in hope this helps m8.

cheers andy... went to the pier but was closed bcos ov the ark royal coming in still had a gud day on the groyne
