never actually fished for the mullet around whitorn but have seen them around the harbour walls, they was big fish to around 4-5lb

had plenty of pollock , mackrel, wrasse, coalies and doggies from the rocks around whitorn by float fishing spinning or bottom fishing

the mullet seemed to come out to play at last light when the sun went of the water

macky

I tend use frozen Sandeel for spinning/float fishing for Pollack (you\'ll also get Mackerel), Ragworm on the float for Wrasse and Pollack. Theres any amount of marks to try, although I\'ve got to say the marks that I fished this year on the ebb, fished better last year on the flood.

Tried to getsome clonkers at The Mull but they never touched the bait, just nudged the floats. They come on after high water when the ebb calms down.
