Cambois @ the ramp

Cambois @ the ramp

;)hi gang, had a recon @ cambo this morn, plenty rods out fishing the s/s open, nice sea running into the beach, just not as big as we would like, there is a gully @ the bottom of the ramp, yep ok for an adult, kids ya rite its doubtfull, for safety a reckon beach or pier, gud luck anyway Mick and have canny nite:D:D:D

Hi Mick and welcome to NESA. I would go with what Ali says, High shore is a canny mark with a good chance of a fish.

If you want to be on the sea, you could do a lot worse than try the pumphouse at the south side of Cullercoats harbour. It is a high water mark and best to have a look along in daylight first to see where you are fishing.

There is also the Oxfauld gulley on the south side of King Edwards Bay. Your fishing from the prom and it is fairly well lit too, handy for keeping an eye on the little fella.

All of these marks are quite safe, fishing comfortabley from behind a railing. Sorry I can't guarrantee the fish to go with the marks too though lol.

Jim.

Blyth quayside is safe and is ok to fish if weather is poor as you park up right next to quayside and you can sit in the motor and watch your rods, nay bova.
Stops the littlin getting cold aswell.
Hartley is good but watch out for boy racers usually parked up also.

Tick twoc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
