Safety while angling

Has anyone noticed, that in mags such as the Sea Angler, etc, when theres an article about rock fishing for pollack wrasse etc, in deep water from shore, the chep in the foto, ( usually Henry Gilbey, or Julie Shambrook) are never wearing floaties......

I think it was this months SA slagging geordies off for wearing bibs and braces & smocks when rock fishing.Dont quote me mind I\'ll have to check,and get me specs,I can\'t see the sodding keys.

Well when I\'m doing my Pollacking over SW Scotland during the summer, the last thing I\'m going to wear is a flotation suit cos it gets bloody hot!!!
