headed up to saint abbs on friday night planning to fish at first light for the wrasse armed with a bucket of crab and my 10ft spinning rod. got there a bit early and had a kip in the car headed down to the mark at 3.30 first drop down the side and after a few mins bang I got my first bite and all hell broke lose something big was hooked after about 20mins I got a look at the fish not a wrasse but a nice cod which later at home tipped the scales to just under 5lbs . after that start I thought I was in for a good session how wrong I was I didnt get another fish landed had a load hang me up called it a day at 7.00 didnt get the fish I wanted but going back up in a few weeks to spend the weekend up there
