Salmon/cod nets @ blyth

Been hearing stories about the beach @Blyth being netted all year round, does anyone know anymore of this? I work at the harbour so will be asking around as much as I can but from what I've heard so far is pretty negative. Iam having a chuck there tonight but might just retreat to the Pier until I know more.

Theres normally nets to the right hand side of the pier aswell mate at the dogleg

Been plenty whitings and flounders last couple of weekends, try the south end from the ranch to the sluice.

Dont think there will be any nets out at the min as theres been northerly winds forecast so they will not put then out

The salmon drift net season ended on 30th Aug, so there will be no salmon nets.

Was there from 4 til 6:30 and only got couple small coalie so let's just hope it wasn't my day and the nets have gone!
