Dunno, but all the marketing says pocket "for external aerator" which would imply no.
Personally I'd ask around a few places like aquarium shops, a battery pump doesn't cost much and if you ask some food factories/sarnie shops you should be able to find some decent food grade buckets with good lids cheap or for nowt....
