Has anyone fished here recently,A friend of the family has moved there and we might be going down for the weekend sometime soon,not bothered about recent catch reports as the fishing has been poor anyway,just a general view and possibly one or two marks close to Saltburn

Saltburn fished well friday night I hear after the big sea, \"on the pier that is\"
I fished the \"penny hole\" last week on a flat sea and caught 2 small codling. Penny holes the area south of the\" ship inn\" just before you reach the scarrs
Its best fished over low water, but some people fish the tide right up, not me I cant cast that far lol. Other side of the pier (north up the beach) is Hazel dean Its a gulley about parralell with the end of the prom but Ive not fished it personally. On the rocks a decent walk is \"Bird flight goit\" but I wouldnt advise going on there unless your with someone who knows the place. Im always weary of rock marks.
