Saltist 30h brakes

Ok lads, anybody have a spare set of brakes for the saltist 30, or point me in the right direction to either make or buy some cheers . Had the odd bird nest and checked no brakes in reel .

you could try the red plastic tube that comes with wd40 or a pen refill

Will try the inside of pen cheers .

Biro-refill etc are ok as a temporary measure, but a few hard casts and they start to melt, they can crud up the brake-ring too as they do so....best off getting the real thing, usually only pennies from a tackle shop (or Daiwa direct).

Moon fleet or Billy's don't have them in . Fishing comp tomorrow will use wd40 see how it goes and order some cheers .
