Hi Peter, had two of the ugly critta's on Ali-Cat yesterday, I call them catfish.
Beautiful eating fish.

Yer i get about two per year from the Tyne, not many about always show up each year, catfish,wolfish they all the same nasty ugly things but nice to catch every so often.

most skippers would have seen a wolf fish,if the party and the skipper did not know what kind of fish it was ,THEY HAD A VERY LUCKY ESCAPE unhooking it,KEYOS would you know how to handle a wolf fish ,answers on a post card,they can stay alive for a long time and if you got one on your hand think it may be a helicopter ride ,but of course you would know that with all your fishing experience am I right ,also rang peter direct to apologise for misleading info giving from the MCA thats what men do.

any way just cut the line and if there to be kept, dispatch (somehow) and put out the way because you may think there dead and the next thing you know it will be up your arm, be careful with them,seen a very experienced skipper who thought one was dead and guess what latched on to his hand and ripped it to pieces
