8 rods fishing..left Sunderland 6 a.m.to catch last of falling tide..first couple of wrecks produced some nice fish..cod the heaviest to 10lb.8ozs..and annother over the 9lb.mark..we all got into something over the 5lb.mark..smaller sizes..3lbish returned alive...this was all about the 4 mile mark..wrecks further out very dissapointing...nothing to speak of.Nearly all fish caught on blue and white shads..with the odd exception.Beautifull day to be out though and all had a good time...tks.again to a very energetic skipper Peter..who was determined to get us into some big(er)fish..maybe nxt.time eh!..and of course thanks to Michael the crewhand for some expert filleting of the kept fish.!..nxt trip 2nd Aug..all looking forward to it.
